Azerbajian is our neighbor so it is near to our country. Azerbajian is in the east of our country. Now, let’s have a look at Azerbajian’s location and climate.
AZERBAIJAN’S LOCATION
Azerbaijan is a Eurasian country located in the South Caucasus. The
length of its borders is 2,648 kilometers. The 1007 kilometers of it in
Armenia, 756 kilometers in Iran, 480 kilometers in Georgia, 390
kilometers, 17 kilometers form the border with Russia and Turkey.
AZERBAIJAN’S CLIMATE:
Although it is surrounded by mountains and high hills, a large part of
Azerbaijan is a plain and among the most fertile places of its land is
the delta where the Kura and Aras rivers are mixed.
Azerbaijan has a temperate climate, but inland from the Caspian Sea,
it is faced with a harsh climate in the high mountains and other high
parts. In higher areas, winters are long, cold and snowy, and summers
are cool. In the plains, winters are cool and rainy and sometimes
snowy, summers are hot and dry.
The country of Azerbaijan is generally steppe in the plains and 25%
is covered with forests, some of which are in the mountains. In the
northern and southern parts, forests are seen up to 2000 meters
high in the mountains.
Azerbaijan is home to 9 out of 11 of the world's climates.

FROM YESTERDAY TO TODAY
The Republic of Azarbaijan is located in Caucasia, where West Asia
and Eastern Europe meet. The Azarbaijan Democratic Republic was
established in 1918,but the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic was
established on April 28,1920 and then joined the territory of the
Soviet Union. The country regained its independence in 1991 with
the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The first diplomatic relations
have been established with Turkey, Pakistan. But for Turkey they
said “one state, two nations”

THE WAR IN AZERBAIJAN
You know that nowadays Azerbaijan is in a war with Armenia, this
war has taken the lives of many innocent people. We wish that this
war will end without any further loss of life.
THE CAUSE OF THIS WAR
It is interesting that how the conflicts between Azerbaijan and
Armenia has started and turned into war in a short time.
Armenia made provocations to settle completely in Karabakh, the
Azerbaijani land which has been occupied for 28 years. Armenia
bombed military positions and villages where civilians live.
TURKEY`S HELPS AND SUPPORTS TO AZERBAIJAN
Turkey has decided to side with the AZERBEIJAN with all political
parties, but until now no technical assistance has been provided
but will be done as soon as possible.
The president and ministers of Turkish Republic underline that
they will always be at the same side with AZERBAIJAN.
