LOCAL NEWS - NEWS THAT SURROUNDS YOU

ANIMALS

Our first news is about the animals. In Kartepe, the municipal
police hung announcements for 4th October. As you know the
4th of October is “Save The Animals Day”. In announcements,
it writes about punishments for injuring the animals. Also,
they put new food and water for the animals.

SHOW

In Kocaeli, Izmit. The municipal attendants make shows with
trained dogs. They got help from the audience. For instance,
a child who was watching the show hid into a box. Then the
dog found him. After that, the trained dogs went on with
acrobatic feats.

CAT

Our last news is about cats. In Körfez, a cement factory has
built huts for cats in the garden of the factory. But these huts
are special because they have heat insulation. In this way, the
cats won’t feel cold. The huts were made from gas concrete.
Every day, they renew the food and water of the cats.

PLANTS

Next one is about plants. This is about Kandıra. In first step,
the municipality planted 17.800 rosemary seedling. But next
time they are planning to make it 2 million. And for another
foresight, it will provide 80 million liras to Turkey. We hope
it will be beneficial for our country.

ORMANYA

Another event is about Ormanya and special for the children.
The children are painting parts of the trees and play games
to learn more about the nature. The activities are for children
who are 7-14 years old. The activities take place in open air so
it isn’t dangerous.
