HOW TO MAKE AN EARTHQUAKE KIT BAG

An earthquake bag is a bag that includes
things you need until help arrives. You
will either use it if trapped under the
debris or you can take it and run
out when the earthquake
starts.

First of all, you need a
big, sturdy bag which
you can carry easily
and can hold
everything you put
in it. You can start
with a blanket
which helps you if
you feel cold or
when you want to
sleep. Also, put
some bottles of
water because
when you are
thirsty you will need
it. Don’t forget to put
some healhty snacks.
Next, you can store
napkins and wet wipes. If
you have medicine that you
take daily, you should pack
them, too. If the season you are in
is cold, you can put socks and some
clothes that will help you stay warm.

Here is the list of all supplies: We hope that we won’t experience any
• blanket earthquakes but we should take precautions. Last
• wet wipes and napkins but not least, remember to refresh the water and
food items that you stored in your emergency kit
• medicine every six months.
