The magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes and thousands of
aftershocks that struck Türkiye on February 6, 2023, have
devastated families in the region. According to the Turkish
Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), more
than 130,000 buildings have been destroyed or damaged, and
more than 500,000 citizens have been evacuated from the
affected provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa,
Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis,
Malatya, and Elazığ. All the world people in the world held their
breath and tried to help wherever they could. You can see the
headlines of various newspapers from different countries. We
thank all the countries who took action and still continue to
help.
