Today was a normal day. There were doner kebab on the menu but something strange happened. When it was the lunch time, we went to dining hall and our chef was sitting desperately. The chef was telling us unfortunately that the kebab was disappeared. We understood he needed help.

We must solve the mystery of this situation. We immediately formed a detective group. Me, Benan, Ayşe Naz and Eflin immediately started to investigate this event in order to solve this mystery. We asked the chef when the kebab disappeared? And he said “Around twelve o’clock I went to the garden to get some fresh air and when I returned, the kebab wasn’t there”. The time kebab disappeared was normally the lesson time. We immediately thought of checking over the cameras of the school. We took permission from Ramazan teacher and we checked the cameras in the security room. There was nothing except a few children walking in the corridors so there weren’t strangers entering the school at that time. We didn’t get any results that day. When I was doing my homework at home, I couldn’t stop thinking about this situation. When I went to the kitchen to drink water, I noticed that my brother was speaking with his friend, Mert. He was talking quietly as he didn’t want anyone to hear him. This situation made me wonder. When I listened to my brother for a while, I heard some sentences which had such as kebab, cat, dog, old aunt. When I went to school next day, I shared this situation with our detective group. When we were checking the cameras again, we noticed that Mehmet and Mert were in the corridors at that time, too. We were looking forward to lunch break. We gave all attention to Mehmet and Mert. We were hiding in different places in the school yard and started to follow them. After talking quietly for a while, we saw Mert and Mehmet were walking out of the back door of the school. They entered a house with a one-storey garden next to our school and we immediately went after them. When Mehmet and Mert were going in, we were secretly looking at them through the window.  As we were looking through the window, we saw an old aunt lying on the couch with her foot wrapped around. After a while, Mehmet and Mert entered the room with a plate full of kebabs and they gave the plate to the old aunt to eat and after they chatted a while, they gave kebabs to the cats and dogs in the backyard of the house and then they quickly returned to school. We immediately went to the chef with excitement of having solved the incident and we told what we saw but there was a little bit of fear in me because I was worried about my brother. Later chef called Mehmet and Mert next to him. First, he was very angry with them but he said that he isn’t going to tell Ramazan teacher about this event because their intention wasn’t bad. Also he said “I will give extra meals to old aunt’s dogs and cats but do not do such kind of things again.”
