Hi! Today I want to write about the life of Şule YÜKSEL ŞENLER. She was born in 29th May 1938, in Kayseri. Her family was a modern family. Just her big brother was living according to Islam. He always did his prayers and read Quran.

But his father didn’t want it. He locked him in his room. But he escaped from window. He became very ill and stayed at the hospital for a long time. One day, Şule asked her brother his last will because they knew he would die. He said to his sister just these sentences: “Please do your prayers and put on a headscarf. I will buy you the most beautiful and expensive headscarf.”
She started to make a research about Islam and decided to wear the hijab. She joined all conferences about  Islam. After a time she started to give conferences. They invited her from all over Turkey and she always attented conferences. One day a director wanted a scenario about converting to İslam. She wrote “Huzur Sokağı”. She was a model for so many women and everybody started to wear hijab after listening to her. After the film “Huzur Sokağı”, they wanted to see it as a book. But she didn’t have any time. However, they gave an announcement: “Huzur Sokağı will be a book!” so she had to write a book.
She was kind, fast and patient. I think she was very special because she lead lots of people to search and live according to their religon ISLAM. Girls started to wear hijab. Her “modern” family also changed and got a better family. Her family also started to pray. She was a special and an important person as she was a pioneer of İSLAM in Turkey.
All of her books are “Huzur Sokağı, Hidayet, Bize Ne Oldu and Kadın ve Evlilik”. The film of her book Birleşen Yollar is also very famous.
She died when she was 81 years old, in 28th August of 2019. She is in the most important people list.
