I was so hungry when I got home from school. After I changed my clothes and washed my hands, we started to eat our dinner. I was disappointed when my mother put cauliflower on my plate. When I said, I didn’t like this food and I didn’t want to eat to it, my voice went up a bit. My father said ‘you misbehaved and you must go to your room immediately.

I went to my room crying and sat on my bed and I am still hungry. I said to myself angrily ‘I wish there weren’t adults in this world’, I went into bed sadly and tried to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I felt very thirsty and I went to the kitchen to drink water and I felt a difference. Generally, my mother would wake up early and prepare breakfast and at that time, my father tried to wake me up but I didn’t see my father or my mother today. Curiously, I knocked the door to enter their bedrooms but there was nobody inside. I thought maybe they had an emergency work and I started getting ready for my school. After I dressed my uniform, I checked my school bag one last time and went out. I always go on foot to my school because my school is close to my home. I noticed something when I was walking down the street that there were no adults in the street. There were only children playing in the parks and I got shocked. Since I didn’t have breakfast in the morning, I decided to buy donuts from the market. I went into the first market I saw. There was a little girl sitting at as a cashier. I said I wanted a donut and I asked where is your father? to this little girl. The little girl’s answer surprised me. She said what is the meaning of father? And then she said is it a kind of chocolate? And she gave me donut. I thought she was joking and I didn’t question her anymore and I said how much money is the donut? The little girl said to me ‘one candy’ again I thought she made a joke and I gave the money but she didn’t accept and then she said ‘I can’t give you the donut for a piece of paper’ and she wanted candy from me. I looked at my pocket and I could find one candy. I gave the candy and I left the market. I still didn’t understand this situation. While thinking about this, I suddenly found myself at the door of the school. When I entered the school, my foot hit the trash bin and I fell down. I got hurt a little bit, but I stood up. All the kids were playing in the corridors like they were crazy and they were disturbing each other. There was no one in the school except the children. There was an amazing noise and confusion. For the first time, I wanted lessons to begin. And suddenly ‘Ali father has a farm’ song began to play and all kids began to enter their class. I laughed a lot at the first time I heard this song but after I became so happy because everyone entered in their classes. I took my school bag and entered the classroom but there was no difference in class. They were playing again like they became a crazy. I had a terrible headache. I didn’t want to stay in school anymore. I immediately went home. I wanted to tell my mom what happened today. When I came back home, our home always smelled very good food and generally my mother greeted me at the door but neither my mother nor my father was there. The world seemed to be left to the children. There was complexity everywhere and suddenly I started to cry. Then I heard ‘my sweetie, wake up please’ I suddenly woke up. Everything turned out to be a dream. When I opened my eyes, when I saw my mother in front of me, I hugged her. I apologized to my mother for what I did yesterday and I told her I will never do anything like that again. Then my dad came in and I hugged both of them then I said myself ‘fortunately there were adults in the world’.
