THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AFTER QUARANTINE DAYS

I will get up early tomorrow, so I will go to bed early because tomorrow is very important day for me. After a long struggle, corona virus has lost its effect in our country. Since last month in Turkey, nobody died because of corona virus. Turkey started to return to the old days and at the end schools are opening, so I am very happy and excited.

I haven't been going to school for about 6 months and I missed my teachers and friends very much. Of course, we could meet in online classes but, it is not as nice as meeting face to face and side by side. Since I will get up early tomorrow, I prepared my things in the evening. First, my mother ironed my uniform to wear.  Then I put my books in my bag with great excitement. After I prepared everything, I went to my bed to sleep. I became very happy when I thought I'd go to school tomorrow in my bed. When it was morning, I woke up early thanks to the alarm sound. Normally I don't like waking up too early but this time, I even missed waking up early. Then I washed my face, wore my uniform and had my breakfast with my family. When my father opened news, it was saying in every news channel that schools were opened. For a long time, there has been news just about the corona virus on televisions and it made me happy to see such good news on TV. After I had my breakfast, I went to school. When I arrived at the door of the school, my heart began to beat rapidly. I felt like the first day I started school. I quickly entered the school and I immediately went up to where my locker was. When I went upstairs, my friends were talking there. I immediately ran towards them and hugged them all. I really missed them so much. We chatted a bit there. We went to put our books in class. They hanged beautiful and colorful posters on the walls of the classrooms. In the posters it is written things like "welcome back to our school, children". Then we went to the garden to read the National Anthem.  Before reading the National Anthem, Ramazan teacher and Süleyman teacher made a speech. Then we lined up to read the National Anthem. Everyone read the National Anthem in a loud voice. Then we entered our classes. Our first lesson was English.  When Reyhan teacher entered the class, we all hugged her. We (all class) chatted during the lesson. None of my relatives died from this corona virus but some of my friends' relatives are dead because of this. We prayed for them. Our minister of national education made the first break 40 minutes on the first day of the schools after quarantine days for us. When we went to the garden, a big surprise was waiting for us. All of our teachers were holding boxes in their hands with full of ice cream. This was a very good gift for us. We ate our ice cream in break time. During the break time I spoke with my friends and my teachers. We did not do any lessons during the day, we generally chatted with our teachers. We played some games with our teachers.
