As most of us know, racism has been one of the biggest threats throughout the history and is still in progress in the 21st century. People are dying because of things they cannot change like the colour of their skin, their religion, and belief. Everyone has different opinions on different topics because people are different so we have to respect each other.

Listen and care. Everybody has the same rights to live peacefully and to live a good life. We need to respect each other. That is the only way we can stop racism.
But a few weeks ago, something terrible happened. As you know, cops should be respectful and treat everyone equally and they shouldn’t be racists. But in USA, there was a black man whose name was George Floyd. One of the cops pushed him down on the ground in the middle of the street, and then started choking him with his knee. George was begging him to stop and he was telling him that he couldn’t breathe. But the cop didn’t stop and killed him. Every detail was filmed by people on the street. These people also begged the cop to stop. Why did he kill Floyd? Because he was black, because of his skin colour, just because of that. And they call themselves “cops”. Soon after people in the USA started protesting about what happened. Many people are on the streets now, as they should. And guess what happened? The president of USA Donald Trump called the protesters “thugs”.  Just for something people should have done. And now people are so angry because he died for NOTHING. And this was just one thing that happened about racism. All around the world, there are so many racist people and racism keeps getting bigger. Educated people are always trying to save lives and stop racism. Lots of people are signing and donating money to justice for George Floyd.  The good thing is, people are making some noise for that. They could choose to stay silent. But they did not.
People die every day because of something they cannot change like the colour of their skin, the place they live, their opinions and belief and that is all called racism. Racism is not okay and no one deserves that. Even though maybe racist people will always be in this world, we should stay educated and respectful. I hope someday racism will end and we will live in a more peaceful world.
