In my opinion history is an important subject. It’s important to learn how people suceeded and failed. No one would want to make a mistake that has already been made. It would be a waste of time. There can even be messages left from centries ago.
Architect Sinan left a note in the walls of Şehzadebaşı Mosque four centries ago. The architects didn’t know how to renovate the mosque. When they started to do the renovation they found the note. It told them how to fix the mosque. If you are a scientist, an architect, or even a commander you must learn history. Wihout knowledge of the past, we would be nothing.
