One day my mum came and said “Ismail, after a week we will go to dad, I cried there because I didn’t see my dad for a year. He was in Turkey. We went to have visa, we took photos for it and in the photo my teeth were broken but just the two in the front.
My mum told me not to open my mouth and show them, but I was very happy and my cheek came to my ears. After days we had a last day in Palestine and all of our relatives came, we went out with our cousins all of the day but the saddest part of saying goodbye was saying goodbye to my grandma and my aunt. My uncle came with us because my mum didn’t know how to make a trip from one country to another. We slept that night and in the morning we drove to border crossing in Palestine. There wasn’t an airport, we went to Egypt for the airport and we stayed there for 4 or 5 days. We stayed at my mum’s friend’s house. They had a big house in Egypt. The thing I liked most here is their kebab they make it delicious. Its taste is still in my mouth. After days we went to the airport. I saw a plane on which Turkish Airlines was written. I thought we would fly with that. We waited an hour for the plane. I always thought how we could get on it because its door was very high then a car came with a huge tunnel. It combined it to the door, then my uncle said let’s go, I was very excited because we were going to fly and I was going to see my dad. We got on the elevator and started to walk in the tunnel. Then a woman came. She was wearing a chef hat. I thought it is a chef hat but it wasn’t. The pilot said something but I couldn’t understand it, then the plane started. It went like a car. My mum kept my hand and said look it’s flying now. I looked out of the window and saw we were flying. During the trip, I just watched the clouds, then that woman came and gave me a packet. There were some toys in it, after moments she came again and gave some meal. I ate them and she gave a chocolate to me. I ate it, too. The pilot talked and I couldn’t understand. My uncle said we came to Turkey, to a city called Istanbul. We finished the trip. When we went out, I immediately started to look for my dad. My uncle went to take the bags. I went to that place in front of me there were a lot of people behind railings then somebody called Ismail Ismail. I turned and I saw my dad. I was alone. My family was taking the bags. I was very excited. I ran as fast as I could and I hugged my dad.
