Hello everyone. I'm Mr. James from PetPaw shelter. About two weeks ago we went out with our colleagues, as usual, to search of animals that need us and we saw a tiny puppy shivering from the cold on the roadside.

It was about to die when we stopped the car and got near it. It looked very thirsty, hungry, and just as tired. Immediately we wrapped it with the blanket we brought with us and gave it water to drink and the dog we found on this roadside was an English Bulldog, as you can see from the photo on the right. When we got to the shelter, we gave it medicine and fed it. It has been receiving treatment for 2 weeks and there is only one week of treatment process left. Now it is in a better condition than the one we first found. But this little friend still needs a family that will love it and a warm home. If you want to own this little friend, I would like you to take a look at the information below.
As you can understand from its name, the English Bulldog is a dog of British origin. It took its name from the bull-dog fights that were free until the 19th century but banned after this period. They can live for an average of eight years.  This little friend is a female dog and her weight can reach up to 22-23 kilograms and their length is between 31-40 cm. These dog breeds are very reliable and very loyal to their owners. Most of the time, they approach people they don't know with a snarl instinct and if the other person is afraid of this situation, they can attack. If you have a child, don't worry. These dog breeds are very kind and affectionate towards children. At the same time, if you are under danger, it will put aside its affectionate and try to protect you as much as possible. This little friend is a type of dog that loves and wants attention. So, before you adopt this little friend, you need to make sure you have enough time for her. These dogs are very active and have a fun-loving nature. So, if you live in an apartment, you may find it difficult at first but after the dog gets used to this situation, you can be sure that it will not cause you any problems.

British Bulldog Health
Although there is no problem in their health in general but sometimes there can be respiratory problems, eye problems and illness caused by their sensitivity to heat may occur.

British Bulldog Care
Since this little friend has shorter fur than other dogs, it is very easy to care for. Combing its fur once a week will be enough. At the same time, it is very important for them to be comfortable to clean the face and wrinkled skin areas regularly with a damp cloth.
