Knock-Knock!
-    Come in I say.
Then, the worker came in.
            He said:
-    Good night Sir.
-    Why do you come at 3p.m at night!
-    Sorry Sir but I found a diary, yesterday

-    If you found it yesterday why do you come today?
-    Because “this diary is very old” I thought and gave it to antique dealer and he said “it was very old. It was even very very old and also it looked like something historical. He said he wanted to work on it and he completed his work at 2 pm.
-    Okay, okay. Give it to me.
I said then I search a little and I opened the diary. It was very dusty and I coughed 5 times. The writings were hard to read but it was okay then
             I said:
-    The writer used French and I started to read.

-    Hello my lovely diary, I am telling you because I haven’t got anyone to tell. Today we are going on a big journey to America because; we are in North Africa and we are abused now. The French people force us to speak French and they kill who resist like my family. They enslaved us because of our skin color because they think we are inferior. We need to take this journey but my brother doesn’t want to come and we are going today that’s it for today. Goodbye diary! See you soon!

-    Hello my lovely diary, today we are in 10th month of our journey and also I am soo happy for this and we are riding horses on this journey. We just took our important thinks like pillow, money, blanket gold… and we, the children and old guys travel by horses, sometimes we stop and drink some water and also we feed the animals and relax. The journey is very dangerous because we need to avoid and defend ourselves from wild animals at night I saw some cheetah taking the baby from a booth. We also need to protect our animals from wild animals. If we aren’t careful enough, we can all die!

-    Hello my diary again! This is the last day of the journey and I lost my brother at night. We went to sleep. When I was about to fall asleep, I heard some scream. I looked near me. My brother was crying. I saw a snake. It bit my brother and tried to help my brother but it was not enough. The leader touched my arm and said “We haven’t got anything to do.”

-    My brother said:
“Sister, please help me! I don’t want to die” I crouched down and held his hand. “Sister” It was his last word then his breath was gone and he died. It wasn’t my first loss but now I ‘haven’t got anyone I am so sad about his loss. But I am also happy for the last days of the journey. But we saw a very big mountain on our route and we think all together about that.

-    If we walk around the mountain it would take 5 months.

Someone said:
-    It is very dangerous. We can fall from the mountain.
Another person said:
-    What do we need to do?
I said to the LEADER:
-    Dear LEADER, maybe we can make bridge.
-    How? We have materials but it can take so long and it may be so hard to make.
-    Dear LEADER, do you know Mimar Sinan?
-    No.
-    He made some bridge in the battle and army used this bridge in the battle when he made the bridge he took notes that show how they made the bridge step-by-step. His notes are in my bag. We can look and check his method.
-    Okay. We can try it. There's no harm in trying.
We made the bridge in about 3 weeks and we walked on it. We reached the end of our journey and finally we came together in freedom.
I said:
-    It is a historical diary. Good job David!
Then I started to work on it when I went to sleep, I thought about the journeys and  battles of people who hold on to their freedom and felt proud. Then I slept happily.
