My hero is Mete Gazoz. He is famous at archery. He was born in 1999. He is from Giresun. His mother and father were archers like him. His height is 1,82 metre. He has black and short hair. He is wearing glasses. He began archery in 2010. This is my birth year! He was also interested in swimming, art and piano.

So, he improved his archery talent. His first international achievement was at 2013 World Youth Archery Championship. He won a silver medal. When he was seventeen years old, he attended 2016 Summer Olympics and he was the youngest sportsman in Turkey group. He won the first Olympic gold medal in Turkish archer history. He beat his Italian rival Mauro Respoli 6-4 in the Men’s Individual Archery category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He has seven gold, seven silver and ten bronze medals. His success shows that he is determined and a model person.
