My name is Abdullah. Let me tell you the story of my name. When I was born, I still didn’t have a name. My parents didn’t decide on a name. My biggest sister named me “Abdullah”. Here is the “Why?” When my second elder sister was born, my eldest sister didn’t accept her!

She said: ”No! She is a girl not a boy! I want a brother.” She was so upset. Three years later, I was born. My eldest sister was so happy and said: “He is Abdullah.”. My parents were okay because Abdullah is a good name.
When I was little, I thought my name was so long. The meaning of Abdullah is “the slave of Allah (c.c.)”. When I was 1-2 years old my parents gave me a nickname. It was “Tosba (Tosbağa “the tortoise”)”. I got this nickname because I was too lazy to talk and walk. I was just rolling and shouting. My parents went to a doctor. The doctor said: “When he goes to school, his laziness will stop.” I still hate him for it. “You ruined two years of my life bro!” Anyway, my nickname changed when I grew up for example it became “Tombalak Tosbağa (fatty tortoise) and later it was “Tosbik”.
All in all, I like my name and I think it is very good.
