Hi my name is Ecem. My mother and father decided on my name with altogether. It hasn’t got a special story but it is meaningful. The meaning of “Ece” is queen. So, Ecem means “My Queen”. I have so many nicknames; Eco, Ecom, Ecoli, Ezem, etc.

In Hunters class we are two Ecems. Our teacher calls me Ecemkey and the other Ecem Ecemey. That’s also fun and everybody calls us like that.
One of my best friends’ name is Ece and we call each other Eco. I love my name but parents don’t call their children by the name they gave to them. My father always calls me “Kızım” and my mother calls me “Bitanem or İçimin gülen yüzü or Kuzum”. When she is angry she calls me “Ecem”. I like “Bitanem” the most. Time is passing and I will be an old lady soon. In the future, I will be aunt Ecem and I think Aunt Ecem will be so interesting.
