Hi, my name is Zülal. The meaning of Zülal is “Clean Water”. Normally, my mother wanted to name me Dila because my sister's name is Dide as they are similar names but then my grandma came up with Zülal and my parents loved it. So therefore my name is Zülal. And it is still similar with my sister’s name Zeynep Dide.

It may not be similar with Dide but Zeynep. Usually grandparents want to give their names to their grandchildren but my grandmother didn’t want it because her name is Kezban and it means “liar” so it has a very bad meaning. I have always loved my name. My friends call me “Zü” I dont know why but my friend from my site calls me “Zü” too and my cousins, too.  But Ecem doesn’t like “Zü” so she calls me “Zülo”. My grandma, aunt and mom calls me Zülüş all the time. And my aunt, my father’s sister calls me “Sarı Papatyam”. I don’t know why she calls me so but it may be because I was really blond when I was young. I think it is a funny nickname. By the way when I was a bay, my sister called me Rosie because her favorite cartoon character’s sister’s name was Rosie. This is all I can say about my name. Bye!
