Hi, my name is Ecrin. The meaning of my name is the present of Allah. My mom gave it to me because when my parents got married they didn’t have children for 13 years. They were so sad about it. When they finally had a child, ME, they thought I was the present of Allah and they decided to give me this name.

I love my name. I love being a present of Allah. It is not an old name nor a new name. I love my name.
I usually use Ecrin but my full name is Ecrin Naz. Naz was the name of sister who was dead before she was born and they decided to give me the name “Naz”, too so that they could remember her. But we don’t usually use it because when my mom hears it, she gets sad. My little sister also has the name Naz in her name.
I have got so many nicknames. My best friends call me Ecö. Sometimes they call me Ekrin. You may ask why? Because at one of our e-twinning meeting a foreign teacher called me Ekrin and also in Pecha-Kucha when the jury announced my name, they said Ekrin.
My nicknames are Ecö, Ekrin, Ecoş, Ecoli, Eci, Cizciz and Gereksiz.
